Adept Benchmarking Different SQL Versions?

I'm curious, has anyone done any comparisons in Adept speed of any versions between SQL 2008 and 2016?  My SQL Admin has been educating me as they have started the process of upgrading our SQL systems to SQL 2016.  One thing mentioned was an improved query optimizer. I wondered if that might translate into a real world difference in Adept?  I probably don't have the transaction rate to notice anything but I thought I'd ask.

I have not done that.  But, I've been wondering the same thing.  When running large queries, there is a noticeable difference between the time it takes to produce the results of SQL 2016 vs SQL 2008.  I've seen as much as a couple seconds difference when selecting say..."Select top 100 rows" of the FM110.cmd table.
